hemorrhoids ?

A prolapsed
hemorrhoid is a swelling on the anal canal inside the rectum
that is so advanced that it can hang out of the opening of the
rectum or anus.

External
hemorrhoids develop on the anus or just outside the rectum. The
are visible to the sufferer and easier to monitor. they can
lead to pain or itchiness when sitting down. An advanced form
is the thrombosed hemorrhoid.

thrombosed hemorrhoid ?
Blood vessels
are responsible for the swelling that is known as a hemorrhoid.
In the case of thrombosed hemorrhoids, the blood vessels that
cause the swelling become 'strangulated' or starved of blood.
This causes them to die and results in the swelling becoming a
hard lump that can be painful when sitting
down.
